V

I love when new albums come out from my favorite artists. But what I really love is when their entire album is awesome...awesome enough that I've listened to it all the way through four times over the last two days.

I'm talking about Maroon 5's newest album "V".

I've been a fan of Maroon 5 for awhile, but I really started liking them when I saw them live during my Spring Break of my junior year of college (they are AMAZING live, by the way). When I found out that it was fully released, I started playing it on Spotify almost immediately.

The album itself is great as a whole, and after the first three tracks (which are their hit singles right now - "Maps", "Animals", and "It Was Always You"), it makes for nice music to listen to while multitasking/working/getting ready. I almost wish that they'd spread out the singles just a little bit instead of having them all at the front of the record, so to speak, but I did like a lot of the other songs on this particular album. In fact, a lot of the songs on here are so sweet lyric-wise.

Also, the regular version of this album lasts only 40 minutes - hence why I've been able to listen to this album 4 times all the way through. I've previewed the 3 bonus tracks on the deluxe version, but I'm not a big fan of them.

My favorites/recommendations: Maps, Animals, It Was Always You, Leaving California, New Love, Feelings.
