About

HEY, I'M SAVANNAH!

My name is Savannah Kate Cottrell. I'm a 27-year-old Christian and all-American writer and traveler from Franklin, Tennessee.

By day, I'm an administrative assistant. By every other time, I'm an Indie author and lifestyle blogger, and I also edit. Writing is my passion, and it's a dream come true to be able to write, work with the English language, and create characters and worlds with words. You can find the short stories I've self-published on Amazon.

On [Savannah] in Wonderland, my little space of the internet, you will find posts and things related to my passions and interests:

Faith - As stated earlier, faith is a huge part of who I am. It's the first thing I'll tell you about myself. So, it's only fitting that I share my faith with you. I'll talk about verses and various faith-related things on my mind.

Lifestyle - Everything from cooking, planning, organization, favorite things, and more will wind up under my Lifestyle tab. Plus, I love to tell you stories from my life, and those will be here, too.

Travel - I have a perpetual case of wanderlust, and I love to teach people how to pack more efficiently for their trips. These kinds of posts are the ones you'll find in the Travel tab.

Writing - I am an author; therefore, it only makes sense that I tell y'all about my writing adventures. You'll be able to find writing tips and more in this tab.

Books - I read. A lot. If I were a Disney princess, I'd be Belle, and I'm totally okay with that. In the Books tab, I talk to y'all about books I've read, and books I love.

[Fashion and] Beauty - Last, but certainly not least, I'm a girly girl at heart. I love talking makeup and fashion with my girls, and I want to do the same with you. If you want to read up on the trends I've loved and the makeup I've been loving lately, check out these posts.

WHY IS MY NAME IN BRACKETS?

In editing, brackets are used to insert something at the editor's choosing, and one of my favorite stories happens to be Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. I inserted my name in brackets in that title just because I thought it reflected both my love of that story and my desire to live my life with optimism and to pursue my dreams, no matter how far-reaching they are. :)
