How I Maintain Pink Underlights

Monday, March 26, 2018

...I got my hair dyed!

First of all, I love how so many people are dying their hair bright or pastel colors this year. When I was in California last February, I saw some of the best purple hair I'd ever seen, and purple underlights, too. Not to mention the fabulous ladies on YouTube who dye their hair pink, blue, or whatever they want on a regular basis.

But here's the thing: I'd never dyed my hair before. I've wanted to since college, but I haven't gotten to it until about 2 weeks ago, when I finally took the plunge and my stylist dyed my hair a fun color underneath.

I decided to go with cotton-candy pink underlights! The underside of my hair is an epic cotton-candy hue now. The pink is the most visible when my hair is pulled back, braided, or curled, but you can still see them when my hair is straight, too. (For the curious, my hair was originally dyed with Pulp Riot color.)

Pastel pink hair can be a biscuit to maintain. Sometimes, it's easy, and other times, it looks less pastel and more like pink-tinged faded blonde hair underneath, and the color can get uneven if you don't rinse with cold water or if you don't use color-safe shampoo.

But I THINK I found the best way to maintain my pink hair, and it's in the form of conditioner. Specifically, Overtone colored conditioner.

Overtone is a brand I discovered through a YouTube search I did on how to maintain pastel pink hair. It's not a dye, but it's a leave-in conditioning treatment that deposits color. You can tint natural hair colors, or brighten hair that's been previously bleached.

The day after I made my appointment to get my hair dyed, I ordered the complete Pastel Pink complete system, which comes with a daily conditioner, a weekly treatment, and a travel-size of the daily conditioner (that I actually used on a recent trip to Florida).

So, here's how I keep my underlights as pastel pink and unicorn/My Little Pony/mermaid-like as possible. I have two methods whenever I want to brighten the pink, or when I want to just wash my hair as normal without the pink fading.

Putting Pink Back In

To put pink back into my hair, I use the weekly treatment.

I separate the top section of my hair with a half-up bun on top of my head so all the pink underneath is visible. (If there's a few strands of dark blonde/my natural color lingering, I'm not too worried about it. It doesn't affect the non-bleached blonde at all.) Then, I just saturate my hair with the conditioner, concentrating on roots and ends after coating the strands.

I leave the treatment in for 20 minutes. That's enough to watch some beauty tutorials on YouTube or start an episode of your favorite show on Netflix. Once time's up, I rinse with cold/cool water; first the bottom (pink) section, then my entire head. As someone who loves hot showers, I'm not the biggest fan of this, but I've found it's the best way to lock in the color. I don't shampoo my hair after I rinse out the conditioner.

After that, I just blow-dry and style my hair as normal. The color is a vibrant, cotton-candy pink that fades really nicely and is easy to maintain.

Speaking of maintenance...

Shampooing with Partially Pink Hair

Washing my hair has become a little trickier these days, but I think I found a method that works.

The best part about this method? I can still take a hot shower with colored hair. That is the BEST.

I use a color-safe shampoo (my hairstylist recommended Biolage and I love it) all over my head, both my natural hair and pink underlights). Using the Biolage color-safe conditioner does not seem to keep the color in my hair all that well, so I opt for the Overtone daily conditioner instead.

After shampooing, I section off my wet hair, and then just condition the under side of my hair using Overtone. I saturate my hair with the stuff, concentrating on roots and ends. Then I set my phone timer for 5-7 minutes (5 minutes for more of a pastel pink, 7 minutes for a brighter cotton candy pink). Once that's done, I rinse everything clean.

Afterwards, I dry and style as normal, and my hair is clean, conditioned, and vibrant.

Final Thoughts

Am I going to be keeping my hair this way for a while?

Short answer: Yes. Very yes.

Like I mentioned earlier, I've wanted to do this for a while now, and I'd been itching for a change to my hair. I knew the color I wanted was going to be a challenge to maintain, but it's so worth having that flash of pink under my ponytail and threaded in my messy buns, and I can keep it hidden as well.

That said, I'm glad I found Overtone. My hair would have faded so much faster if I hadn't started using it, and it's the best thing for my hair. The bleached underside doesn't feel damaged; in fact, it's probably the softest it's ever been between the daily and weekly treatments and that Biolage shampoo.

In the end, I learned that change is good. :) And this is definitely a change that's sticking around for a long time.

Disclaimer: I am NOT sponsored by Overtone. I bought their conditioner with my own money because I saw rave reviews and wanted to give it a try, and I wanted to share it with you guys!

An SNS/Dip Powder Nails Review

Monday, September 25, 2017

Painting my nails or having them done has always been a fun pastime for me. It’s a stress-reliever, and not to mention it’s an excuse to express myself with whatever color I see fit on my hands.

But, a few months back, I decided to try something new: the SNS/Dip Powder manicure.

It all started when I was talking to one of my friends, and she had a particularly fabulous manicure. I asked her if they were gel and how she liked them. Imagine my surprise when one, they were not gel, and two, they were SNS (a brand of dip powder) nails that hadn’t damaged her nails at all. In fact, they’d only made them stronger.

Then, more ladies - both women and girls from high school to adulthood - had lauded the joys of the dip powder manicure, and they encouraged me to try it as well.

It took a few weeks, but I eventually decided to go for it.

And, y’all…it’s worth it.

What’s a Dip Powder Manicure?

A dip powder manicure involves your nails being coated with powder as opposed to just a polish or acrylic bonding. There is a bonding agent, but it’s more akin to a base coat than a sealant (with the exception of the top coat).

There is always a “base coat” between layers. The color is applied in two layers, and it feels like dipping your fingers in powdered sugar. Then, finally, there’s a clear layer, and then two layers of top coat that only takes four minutes to dry, and you’re totally set.

Occasionally, depending on where you go, there is a drill used, but it’s more of a buffer. It does not - and should not - hurt. If it does, please go elsewhere.

How long does it last?

Three, up to four weeks without chips. If that doesn’t draw you in, I’m not sure what will.

Here’s a dip powder manicure the day I went to the salon:

And here it is three weeks later:

I’ve had it last up to four before, but my nails generally grow a hair slower, so please keep that in mind.

How much does it cost?

Depending on where you go, a dip powder manicure can cost $45-$60. It’s generally ten dollars more than a gel manicure.

But when you’re looking for a place to go, please make sure that there’s a general positive client review base. You don’t want to leave with cut-up cuticles (which has happened to me before, and it’s never a fun time). A great salon will give you a great manicure for a reasonable amount.

Who is this for?

Go for the dip powder manicure if:
  • You do a lot of labor-intensive work (such as farming, retail, etc.), or have a job that requires you to have a professional appearance (business, secretary, etc.)
  • You, to be honest, don’t have time to do your nails weekly.
  • You’re traveling (No need to bring nail polish with you on a trip! Save that space in your liquids bag or checked luggage and avoid spilled nail polish.)
  • You’re getting married! (No need to worry about chipped nails on your wedding day)
  • You’re in a wedding! (I did dip powder nails for the first time for one of my best friends’ weddings to cut their cake. I’m so glad I did.)
  • You’re going to prom! Or some other special occasion.
  • You’re sick and tired of removing glitter polish by hand (SNS glitter colors are some of my favorite manicures ever - see above)
  • You’re sick and tired of your nails being so brittle (My nails have not broken since I’ve been getting dip powder nails)
  • You want to!

Have you ever gotten an SNS/Dip Powder manicure before? Would you want to get one? Let’s talk in the comments! :)

What's in my Daily Makeup Bag | Fall 2017

Wednesday, September 20, 2017

The last time I did one of these posts was…November 2015?

Yep. Time for an update.

The last makeup post I did was on “Makeup to Fly Out the Door With.” A lot of those products (or, at least, the types of products) are actually ones I still use and love. My makeup routine these days is quite simple, with an emphasis on natural tones, simple graphic eyeliner, and (sometimes) an accent lip depending on the day.

By “makeup bag,” I mean the bag I keep on my vanity that I reach for every single day I go out. Some days I use all the products; other days I just use a few if I need to get somewhere fast.

Onto the products!

Face:

Eyes:

Cheeks:
  • Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blush Wardrobe - This is an awesome blush palette! I usually wear the shades “Baby Love” and “How Deep is Your Love?” (The full palette was Limited Edition, but you can buy individual shades here.)

Lips:
  • Lipsense! (I’m not a distributor, but Lipsense is by far the best long-wearing liquid lipstick I’ve ever tried. Would you guys want me to post a full post on lipsense? Please comment and let me know!)

Anyways, that’s my daily makeup bag. What makeup are you guys loving lately? Any tried-and-true products? Let’s chat in the comments!

Quick disclaimer: I am not sponsored by any of the above websites I've linked. I just want to share my makeup with you guys. :)

March Favorites | 2017

Monday, April 3, 2017

I know I say something similar every month, but March has come and gone, and I can’t believe how fast it came and went.

This month was pretty big travel-wise, but I loved this month a whole lot in general. So, without further delay, I present my favorites for this past March!

Beauty

I can’t start the beauty section without mentioning my experience at Bite Beauty. The two lipsticks I made there are my absolute favorites. (If you want to know more about my making these lipsticks in San Francisco, click here.)

But as far as the rest of my makeup goes, I’ve been really loving using just the Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Creme sans foundation. That concealer’s coverage is so thick that I find that I don’t need really much else in the face department. Plus, it’s given my skin a chance to breathe, which is a big plus.

Music

Here are my top 5 songs for March:

  1. Symphony by Clean Bandit (feat. Zara Larsson)
  2. Waterfall by Stargate (feat. Sia and P!nk)
  3. Dirty Paws by Of Monsters and Men
  4. Blindside by Hunter Hunted
  5. Galway Girl by Ed Sheeran
Travel

As mentioned earlier, I traveled a ton this month. My travels were mainly on the West Coast and in the Midwest.

Y’all know that I absolutely adore California. I had not been to San Francisco in ten years, and I finally got the chance to fall in love with it again. It’s such a unique city, and I can’t wait to go back.

Then, this month, I went to the great state of Colorado for the first time! Don’t you worry, I’ll be posting more about my trip to Denver and Breckenridge, but I had a blast out there with my best friends.

Bible Verse

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when the morning dawns.” - Psalm 46:5

What were your favorite things in March? Let me know in the comments! :)

Bite Beauty Lip Lab San Francisco

Wednesday, March 15, 2017

Let me tell you about one of the coolest experiences of my life so far.

On the corner of Sutter and Fillmore Street in San Francisco is the Bite Beauty Lip Lab. One of only four locations in the world, this little shop isn't just a place to buy Bite Beauty makeup. Oh, no.

It's called a Lip Lab for a reason.

It all started when I made an appointment for the Bespoke lipstick experience a couple of days prior. On the day of the appointment, Mom and I walked into the Lip Lab.

I thought I knew what to expect based on what I saw on YouTube. I had what lipstick colors I wanted in mind (including names!), but it was a whole different ballgame when the technician pulled out an entire tray full of colors. It was like an artist's palette, but with any lipstick I could think of or imagine.

Still, I stuck with exactly what I wanted; one blush pink, the other a bubblegum shade with a violet kick. And I chose a matte finish, which, in Bite Beauty terms, means a creamy, no-shimmer base. No chalky mattes here.

So, the technician (shoutout to Rhianna, who was AWESOME and totally got my vision) went to work. She first put together a version of "Savannah in Wonderland" (the blush pink) that was more orange-leaning.

"Savannah in Wonderland", version 1

I decided to definitely go more pink - since I modeled this shade after this blog - and once she added that extra pink pigment, it was perfect. (In fact, comparing it to this website, I can't believe how well it actually matches.)

"Savannah in Wonderland", version 2; the winner!

Next, she went to work on the second bubblegum/violet shade, "We're All Mad Here." Rhianna got the shade exactly perfect on the first go, and I fell in love with it immediately.

"We're All Mad Here"

Finally, I got to pick some scents. I chose cherry, and y'all, it smells like cherry Kool-Aid.

Once we had the two shades down, we went over to the actual lab to have the lipsticks made. She whipped together larger chunks of the pigments, put them each in the microwave, softened them, and put them in molds. Then, after in sitting in dry ice for a few minutes, the molds came off, and I had two lipsticks.

It's one thing to have your lipsticks be mixed together on a piece of plastic, but it's another ballgame entirely once they're in tubes.

Overall, this experience was a dream come true. If I had the opportunity to do this again, I would, and with the same colors, too. (They make a color profile for you that has the "recipes" for each lipstick so you can reorder them easily.)

If you want to do this, you can. It's $150 for the entire appointment, and it took about an hour for the consultation and for everything to be mixed and made. Plus, you get a goody bag filled with lip scrub, a lip mask, and a lip primer/liner.

If you prefer a less expensive (and faster) option, though, there's a $55 option where you can choose just a premade color, a finish, and a scent (and for two, it's $80). But I can't recommend the custom experience enough to y'all.

If you do decide to go for the Bespoke option, here are some tips:
  • Know what you want beforehand. Do some research. Look at your own makeup collection. Do you find yourself looking for specific shades, but find they just don't work with your skin tone? Do you have favorite colors that you would prefer to wear everyday, but would rather them be more sheer or more pigmented? Need that perfect shade of red, but can't find it? Those situations would be perfect for this appointment.
  • Make an actual appointment to do this. Walk-ins are welcome, but there are quite a few who come in parties, so keep that in mind. It's best to make an appointment a couple days in advance at least by calling them ahead of time.
  • Work with your technician, and don't be afraid to speak up if something's not exactly the way you want it. Explaining your vision further and as clearly as you can will be helpful for you both. She's there to make your dream lipstick, so make sure you're in love with it.
  • Most of all...have fun!!

If you go to the San Francisco location, ask for Rhianna (and tell her I said hi!). Otherwise, you can go do this in San Jose, New York, or Toronto (for all you amazing Canadians).

Would you go do something like this? What lipstick would you make? Let me know in the comments! :)

February Favorites | 2017

Wednesday, March 1, 2017

Goodness gracious, where has the time gone? It's like February just started.

But, here we are, and March is now upon us. I like March; it's a sign that Spring is coming just around the corner, and I personally have a ton to look forward to this month.

But today, I wanted to show y'all what my favorite things were this past February. :)

Beauty

Two things:

One, my concealer of choice this month was the Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Crème. This concealer is epic in its coverage and in its shade range, and it's amazing how well the concealer matches my skin. This concealer is so thick that I will sometimes just use this in lieu of foundation and then maybe set it with powder if I'm so inclined.

Two, Pokémon makeup.

Yes.

You heard me right.

Pokémon. Makeup.

Tonymoly (my favorite Korean skincare brand) partnered with Pokémon to create a cosmetics and skincare line that's legitimately awesome. I loved the packaging anyway, but I didn't expect to love the actual products as much as I did.

Here are my personal favorites from the line:

Music

Here are my top 5 songs of February:
  1. "Something Just Like This" - The Chainsmokers feat. Coldplay
  2. "Stay" - Zedd feat. Alessia Cara
  3. "It Ain't Me" - Kygo feat. Selena Gomez
  4. "Believer" - Imagine Dragons
  5. "Mad Hatter" - Melanie Martinez
And this month, I made my first purchase at a local record shop (shoutout to Luna Record Shop in Franklin!) since getting my record player for Christmas!

Usually, I buy specific albums I want from Amazon or Urban Outfitters, but I love going to local shops because not only is it fun to search through crates of albums, but I love getting to talk about music with the people that work there.

Food

I've ventured into the world of Acai bowls...and I like them a whole lot!

Franklin Juice Company at the Factory does some really great ones. I got the Standard Bowl, which had strawberries, goji berries, honey, acai, bananas, coconut shavings, and granola. 10/10, would get again.

Bible Verses

And here are the Bible verses I loved this month:

"For He will hide me in His shelter in the day of trouble; He will conceal me under the cover of His tent; He will lift me high upon a rock."
- Psalms 27:5

"God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when the morning dawns."
- Psalms 46:5

"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."
- Exodus 14:14

"Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart."
- Psalm 27:14a

And those are my favorites for the month! :) What were your favorite things in February? Feel free to let me know in the comments!

January Favorites | 2017

Wednesday, February 1, 2017

Hello hello!

It has been a hot minute since I've done anything remotely close to a "monthly favorites" roundup. I'd have to say the last one has been a Mondays are for Music post, and that's just for favorite songs.

So, I wanted to change that. This year, I want to consistently share my favorite things with you, from Bible verses to travel to beauty to whatever else, on a monthly basis.

Before we get into the favorites, though, I need to mention that none of these links are sponsored. I mention specific brands, but hey, certain brands just work. (Or, as we say down south, if it ain't broke, don't fix it ;) ).

With that, let's get right to it! Here's what I loved in January.

Beauty

January Beauty Favorites | 2017

This month, I experimented with various eyeshadows/palettes, but I’ve been having a lot of fun with makeup in general lately. I’ve also gotten back into using highlighters, which I’d been meaning to try again for awhile...I LOVE this blush/highlighter set from Too Faced.

Then again, Too Faced makeup is awesome. There's a reason why it's the only brand of makeup I've been obsessed with, at least eyeshadow-wise.

Hair

I got a haircut this month, which is always a great time, but this particular appointment, my hairstylist surprised me with curls since we had extra time.

So, as you may have figured, curling my hair has become a new favorite. To curl my hair on my own, I use the Bedhead by Tigi Curlipops 1 inch clampless barrel with Bedhead’s Masterpiece hairspray (which I have been loving since high school…it smells like sweet tarts!).

Music

I’ve been into a wide variety of music lately, from dance to rock to pop, including some classic rock.

Here’s my top 5 songs for the month:
  1. Now and Later - Sage the Gemini
  2. Paris - The Chainsmokers
  3. Working for the Weekend - Loverboy
  4. Shape of You - Ed Sheeran
  5. I Got You - Bebe Rexha

Also…yes, I still love my record player. :)

Places

I will never not love that place.

Bible Verses

Last, but certainly not least, I want to share with you my favorite Bible verses. I’ve never added these to a list of favorites before on this blog, and I think it’s high time I do so. My faith is such a huge part of my life, and I want to share as much of my walk with God with you guys as I possibly can.

But anyways, these two verses in particular resonated with me this month:

"For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”
- Isaiah 41:13

“Fear not, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
- Isaiah 41:10

What have been your favorite things this month? Let me know in the comments! :)

Makeup to Fly Out the Door With

Tuesday, November 3, 2015

I had one of those days recently where I needed to get out the door, and fast. As in, having only minutes to actually do makeup fast, along with the rest of my routine.

If you have five minutes to spare, fret not, dear reader. I have a list - a cheat sheet, if you will - of products that you too can use (and that I personally love) to fly out the door with. You'll be polished for any situation, whether that's work or school, and you can add products as the day goes on if you need a little something extra.

Also, quick disclaimer: you don't have to use these exact products. Use the ones that work best for you and your preferences.

Without further ado, on to the makeup! :)

Makeup to Fly Out the Door With

1. Thick, Cream Based Concealer - This usually has the consistency of a typical foundation. Apply this first over any areas that need to be evened out (like under your eyes). I recommend finding a brightening concealer as well, just to help illuminate your skin. But if you don't want to go the concealer route, I recommend a tinted moisturizer, just so you get that coverage along with the moisture (plus, that dewy, fresh texture is awesome).

2. Volumizing Mascara - Then, go straight to your mascara. Use one that you know will last all day (waterproof or not), and your eyes will pop instantly. Tubing mascaras have always worked well for me (see the Too Faced mascara linked above), since they only come off with remover and/or warm water.

3. Brow Gel/Pencil - Brows are the frames for the rest of your face, so well-groomed brows will help you feel extra-polished. Use your favorite brow gel or pencil to set and groom your eyebrows however you like, whether that's making them stand out or just polishing them up.

4. Lip Gloss - Finally, add a lip color of your choice. On days when I want to stay neutral, I like a sheer pink gloss, but if you want to go a little more bold, rock a lipstick in a bright shade.

What's your favorite makeup to fly out the door with?

What to Wear on Planes: Summer Edition

Monday, June 15, 2015

I'm going on a super-big trip soon (stay tuned for more info and posts on that later!), and I'm already thinking of what I'm going to pack and also what I'm going to wear on the plane.

Whether you fly international or domestic, what you wear on the plane matters, since you'll either need to be comfortable, or efficient, or both. Plus, this changes when you're in specific weather, too. In the summer, you'll want to take into consideration the heat outside and varying levels of air conditioning on planes and in airports or other transportation.

Here's a sample outfit, built for a particularly long day of travel (I'm talking about 12 hours or more):

What to Wear on Planes: Summer (Long Flight)

And here are some clothing-related travel tips (for both ladies or the guys in the audience):
  • Depending on the length of your flight or how much you're packing, you may want to wear your bulkiest items on the plane. I'm talking about thicker jackets/cardigans/sweatshirts, boots, thicker shoes, etc.
  • Scarves make for great blankets and/or pillows in a pinch.
  • It wouldn't hurt to bring a spare, simple change of clothes in your carry-on luggage, just in case your luggage gets lost or delayed in transit.
  • Bring comfy socks on the plane. You'll want to take your shoes off on longer flights, but the A/C vents by your feet can get really, really cold. (Just keep in mind that if you walk around the plane in flight, you'll want to put your shoes back on, so slip-ons are a good idea for that reason.)
  • Minimal jewelry is a good idea to help expedite security. Again, so are slip-on shoes.
What do you wear on planes? Do you have any favorite tips for travel wear?

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Polish!

Friday, March 13, 2015

It's no secret that I love a good bottle of nail polish. (Okay, I admit, I collect nail polishes.) But I've never really delved into the world of gel nails...at least not legit "gel" nail polish (I've tried gel finishes before). I've never had a gel manicure done, but while I've heard they last a long time, they can weaken your nails a lot (similar to acrylics or press-ons with harsh glue). So, I finally caved and tried the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Polish when my mom had bought some a few weeks ago.

Oh my long-lasting finish, Batman, this stuff is AWESOME.

It's a two-step deal; you're able to buy these as a kit (color and topcoat), or separately by color and/or top coat if needed. The color selection is HUGE. Here are four of my favorites:

Clockwise from top left: Red Eye, Pink Cadillaquer, Sugar Fix, Tidal Wave
Images from sallyhansen.com; click for pricing and retailers

Here's how I apply this joy in a bottle:
  1. The directions say not to use a base coat, but I do use one to stay on the safe side. The best one I've used has been Formula X by Sephora's base coat polish.
  2. Apply two coats of color. I do this while watching something on Netflix or YouTube.
  3. Apply the top coat from the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel line. Let dry. Enjoy your nails.
  4. A couple days later, I'll reapply one coat of color, then one coat of top coat to reinforce the color. The color should last you at least a week without visible chipping (although the top and edges seem to start wearing down some around the day 5-6 mark).
If you're wanting to see swatches before you check these out, I HIGHLY recommend checking out this post from beautygeeks. There are so many shades, and in my opinion, they all look amazing.

This polish would be great for you if you don't always have time to redo your nails, or if you need your nails to last a really long time for events, work, or travel.

Have y'all tried this polish out yet? What'd you think?

(P.S.: I am not sponsored by Sally Hansen. I just wanted to share one of my beauty discoveries with you!)

What to Wear on Valentine's Day

Monday, February 9, 2015

Hey, y'all! :)

So, Valentine's Day is coming up. SO much happens on that day: giving out candy and cards, spending time with loved ones, enjoying the excitement (and all the red and pink!), and - my personal favorite part - celebrating my grandfather's birthday! I love this time of year, just because most everyone is so positive and happy. I see Valentine's Day as the perfect time to celebrate and love everybody, whether that's a best friend, a significant other, or a family member.

Regardless of whether or not you have plans for the day, I put together four outfits that'll fit whatever the day has in store for you. :)

What to Wear on Valentine's Day

Outfit #1: The LBD

This entire outfit centers around any little black dress you may have. LBDs are so incredibly versatile, and there's a style out there for everybody. Pair your LBD with red or pink shoes and fun statement earrings to take your look into date night or girls' night.

Outfit #2: Candy Pink

The bright pink dress makes for a fun outfit that can take you into a wide variety of occasions, from parties to nights out. Pair this bright dress with neutral flats and jewelry.

Outfit #3: Spun Sugar Casual

Not planning a night out on Valentines' Day? No problem. Get festive for the day with your favorite pair of jeans and sparkly flats. Add a pale pink t-shirt and statement necklace for a casual look that would be great for a fun Saturday brunch and/or coffee with your girls, your family, or your significant other.

Outfit #4: Warm n' Fuzzy Night In

Want to stay in and watch some romantic comedies? This outfit will be perfect for that. Pair a fun sweatshirt with comfy jeans and comfy slippers. Then, just pop some popcorn, pull up Netflix, and get the Valentines' party started!

What are you wearing this Valentines' Day? Let me know in the comments!
