Hello! :)

It's February 1st, and I can't believe we're already 1/12th of the way through 2018. This has already been an awesome year.

Here's what I loved this past month!

I have a lip balm favorite now.

This winter has done a number on my lips. And, unfortunately, for some reason, the lip balm I was previously using wasn't making my lips any less dry.

Enter Vaseline, of all things.

Specifically, Vaseline Rosy Lips. I'd used a miniature tub variant of this balm before, but I think the disk container is easier to use. It works. Between this and chapstick, I think I'm all set.

Why is gaming here?

Well, to begin our little tale, I had the flu. For a week. And the worst part was that I couldn't see my boyfriend while he was home because of said flu. We still talked the whole weekend on the phone, and one morning, I expressed interest in gaming. He asked me, theoretically - or so I thought - what console I'd use the most. I said Xbox One because one, the sheer variety of games, and two, Cody has one, and I've played some of it.

Well, he told me not to look into purchasing anything. He said that when I got better, we'd look online at headsets and things like that.

Little did I know that he had come up with the sneakiest of plots with my dad, and he was about to pick up the Xbox console for me right then. Of course he wouldn't tell me to buy anything because he already had.

A couple hours and a sneaky front door drop-off later...

I became an Xbox girl.

Yep. My boyfriend's the best.

The games I've been loving the most are Forza Horizon 3 and Skyrim, but I do also love Fallout 4 and Final Fantasy XV.

Here's what songs I've played the most this January:

Sick Boy - The Chainsmokers
Sober Up - AJR
The Middle - Zedd feat. Maren Morris
Walk On Water - R3hab Remix - Thirty Seconds to Mars
Oh My! My! My! - Troye Sivan

Last, but certainly not least...I'm in California! Specifically, one of my favorite cities in the world...

...Palm Springs!!

I'll be here with my mom through some of February, so be on the lookout for posts in the near future. I've got some in mind that you won't want to miss. I can't wait to share even more of this place with you. :)

What have you been loving this month?
